Donate to runners and bikers for a great cause!
Runners and Bikers from around the world have pledged to enter the Genghis Khan MTB Adventure & Grassland Extreme Marathon on behalf of Operation Smile. The events will take place over three days from July 29th - July 1st and will feature a 10k, half-marathon and full marathon, plus bike races for a total distance of 200 kilometers!
Every team member is trying to raise 5,000 RMB, or 800 USD, the amount it costs Operation Smile to perform cleft lip and cleft palate operations in China.
You can either donate on this page to fund our global operations or directly to China programs through our Hong Kong foundation office. In fact, it would be preferable to donate to Hong Kong but we understand if you would like to receive a tax deductible receipt from our US headquarters. You can donate to Hong Kong by clicking this link, http://www.operationsmile.org.hk/involved/donations/. Under “Additional Information” please put in Grassland Marathon - Name of Participant, for example, Grassland Marathon - Scott Snyder. The amount will be in Hong Kong Dollar and the current conversation rate to USD is 1 USD 7.77 HKD. Visa and MasterCard is accepted.

Joyride Sportswear:
Joyride Sportswear has generously offered to make running shirts for the Operation Smile Team and we greatly appreciate it! We are looking to expand this partnership globally. They will sell tee-shirts at a reduced rate to other teams participating in events similar to the Grasslands Marathon and a percentage of the proceeds will go to Operation Smile.
