Private Practice star and Boyfriend Founder/CEO Kate Walsh has been a longtime supporter of Operation Smile. After learning that every three minutes a child is born with a cleft lip, she wanted to get involved. It takes only $240 to perform a single surgery and change a child’s life forever.

Operation Smile mobilizes a world of generous hearts to heal children’s smiles and transform lives across the globe. Operation Smile’s network of volunteers works worldwide to repair childhood facial deformities including cleft lips and cleft palates.
