Happyness Is a Choice

A smile is the universal expression of happiness. But for 1 in 700 children around the world, that expression remains hidden behind a hand or a scarf because of cleft lip or cleft palate deformity. Due to the high cost of corrective surgery, these children are forced to live with this tragic reality every day. Ostracized by their societies, some are abandoned by their families and left to fend for themselves.

Through our Happyness Is a Choice program, Zumasys is partnering with Operation Smile, an international medical charity that performs safe and effective cleft lip and cleft palate surgery and offers postoperative and ongoing medical therapies for children in low- and middle-income countries.

Zumasys is pledging to help Operation Smile fund corrective surgeries for impoverished children around the world. With just $240, we can provide a child with the gift of a smile and make a lasting difference in his or her life.

Zumasys has already raised over $10,000 to help Operation Smile. But we’re not stopping there. At Zumasys, we believe that happyness is not just a feeling, it’s a choice we make every minute of every day. You can choose to spread happyness by giving a child the gift of a smile.

How you can get involved

This website is designed to facilitate the fundraising efforts for the Zumasys Happyness is a Choice campaign. If you wish to make a personal fundraising webpage to support this campaign or make a donation to a team or an employee's OneSmile page, please follow the steps as outlined below.

To create your OneSmile page:

1. Check to see if your country or office already has a team page. If not, click the "Create Your Team" button to the right.
2. Once your country or office has a team page, click the "Join Your Team" button.
3. Follow the 3 easy steps to personalize your individual fundraising page. You can make edits at any time by logging in.
4. Share your OneSmile page link with friends, family, and colleagues via email, Facebook and other social networks.
5. To search and donate to Zumasys’s employee OneSmile pages, click the "Search for OneSmile Page" button.
