Seth Moore

Seth serves as President of Carolina State Bank located at Friendly Center. He was born in Madison and made his way to Greensboro after a longer-than-his-parent’s-anticipated stay at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to earn an economics degree. As member of the local banking community for more than 15 years, Seth has worked with various financial institutions and owned a wine shop in Chapel Hill. Seth spends his time with his wife, Catey, their two boys, Teddy and Tommy, and a hermit crab that has far outlived its welcome.
As President of Carolina State Bank, Seth is dedicated to the executive management and operations of the bank. He believes banks should support the community, working in partnership to grow and give Greensboro access to the financial services it needs to grow.
Seth is committed to supporting and the serving the community he lives in and has served as Chairman of the Board for the newly renovated Carolina Theatre, is a current Preservation Greensboro board member and a member of The Greensboro Rotary Club.
He is excited to participate in Dancing with the Carolina Stars and hopes to help Operation Smile achieve their goal of providing children with cleft conditions access to safe surgical care. As a father of two small children who’s smiles delight and inspire him, Seth wishes the same for all parents.

About Operation Smile

Operation Smile is an international medical charity whose global network of thousands of credentialed medical volunteers from over 80 countries is committed to helping improve the health and lives of children from more than 60 countries. Since 1982, we've worked with local medical professionals, governments, hospitals and other NGOs to deliver the safest care to each of our patients, and have established care centers wherever possible to give children ongoing medical treatment.

Operation Smile continues to provide training and education for local medical professionals so they can provide care within their own communities and share their expertise. To date, we have provided more than 220,000 free surgeries for children born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.
